What we collect
If you send us a message, we keep what you wrote and the email address you gave us, so that we can reply. Nothing else in that form is required.
This site records anonymous usage — which pages are visited and roughly where from — so we can see what people need and whether anything is broken. IP addresses are truncated before they are stored, and nothing identifies you personally.

There are no advertising trackers on this site and nothing here is sold or shared with advertisers.

Your rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses, not to local government, so there is no general right to have a public agency erase its records — and much of what an agency holds it is required to keep under its adopted records retention schedule.
What you do have is the California Public Records Act: you may ask what the Commission holds, and it must tell you within ten calendar days whether it holds records responsive to your request and when you can expect them. Make a records request.
