When you send a service request, FOIA request, licensing or economic-development inquiry, rental inquiry, alert sign-up or message, we keep your name, email address, the topic and what you wrote, together with a reference number and the date. It is delivered to the Village desk responsible and used only to answer you. Submissions to a public body are public records under Illinois law and are kept in line with the Village’s records-retention schedule under the Local Records Act.

FOIA log

The public FOIA log shows each request’s reference, department, dates and status. It never shows the requester’s name, email or the text of the request.

Site analytics

To improve the sites we record the page visited, the link clicked, a coarse device type and an IP address with its last part removed. No names, no form contents, no advertising trackers, and nothing is shared with anyone. Browsers that send a “Do Not Track” signal are not recorded at all.

Payments

Card details are never entered on these sites. Payments are completed on the Village’s secure WebPay pages; these sites only help you choose what to pay and confirm the amount.
