The Village is organized into 12 departments with about 600 employees. For any of them, dial 311 inside Schaumburg — staffed 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.

Police
Public safety for everyone who lives, works, plays and travels in the Village’s 19 square miles. Four divisions: Patrol, Administration, Investigations and Special Operations.

Fire
Emergency response from five stations: fire, ambulance, hazardous materials, underwater rescue and recovery, high-angle, trench and confined-space rescue — plus school programs, station tours and Explorer Post 333.
