Garbage, recycling and yard waste
Residential refuse, recycling and yard-waste collection is provided under Village contract by Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS).
Collection services
Weekly collection
Garbage, recycling and yard waste are collected weekly on your route day by LRS. Place carts at the curb the night before.
Collection details
Recycling
Paper, cardboard, cans and bottles go in the recycling cart. Electronics and paint are accepted at the Village recycling events.
Recycling events
Missed pickup or damaged cart
Report it through a Customer Service Request and it is routed to the right desk with a reference number.

Electronics and paint recycling plus onsite document destruction, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at Wintrust Field, 1999 S. Springinsguth Rd. Watch the calendar for the next event.
WinterSnow & ice operations
SnowStat shows plow progress on a live map during storms; carts should be placed clear of the plow path.
