Famous Sally & YB release their debut EP “The Truth”
Six tracks through Epic Records and Against Da Grain, following the No. 1 TikTok run of “Wassup Gwayy”.
The Hype Magazine covered the 20 February 2024 release of “The Truth”, the six-track debut from Atlanta duo Famous Sally & YB, out through Epic Records and Against Da Grain.
The EP arrived off the back of “Wassup Gwayy”, used close to 2.5 million times on TikTok and a No. 1 on Billboard's TikTok chart. The magazine's read was that the project balances the party records with more personal songs, and it singled out the blue-tinted “Scrilla” video for its darker production.
The two met in middle school in Atlanta, and both are parents, which the feature framed as the reason the record is called The Truth: the duo wanted the project to show more than the trend that introduced them.
