Momodou Junior Choi, known as JNR CHOI, is a Gambian-British rapper, singer-songwriter and model based in London. His 2021 single “TO THE MOON”, built on Sam Tompkins’ cover of “Talking to the Moon”, spread through TikTok before charting worldwide and peaking at No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Fly Ty brought the record to Epic Records through Against Da Grain while it was still climbing. The Gunna remix and a drill remix with Fivio Foreign, M24 and Russ Millions followed in 2022, and the song went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay and Rap Airplay charts — the label’s first radio No. 1.
