The record
Twenty-five years, one instinct
From a verse recorded down a prison payphone onto a Roc-A-Fella album, to Senior Vice President of A&R at Epic Records. The route was not the usual one.
Becomes the first artist to record a song from jail, over the phone, onto a major album — DJ Clue's The Professional Pt. 2, Roc-A-Fella.
Releases "Smoking Mirrors" featuring French Montana on his own imprint. The video lands on MTV and Revolt.
Jadakiss and Offset join him on record — the single that moves him from artist to executive.
Brings Tina — then HoodCelebrityy — to Epic Records. Jamaica to the Bronx to a major deal.
Signs a joint venture between Against Da Grain, Young Thug and Young Stoner Life Records. Gunna's verdict on record: "legendary and monumental."
Brokers the Gunna remix of JNR CHOI's "TO THE MOON." It hits No.1 on both Billboard Rhythmic and Rap Airplay, tops Spotify's Viral chart and clears 46 million streams.
Signs 1SkiMask out of Jamaica and Dumar 1K out of Jacksonville to Epic × ADG within months of each other.

Founded by Tyshawn “Fly Ty” Johnson and run in partnership with Epic Records and Sony Music. Dancehall out of Clarendon, country trap out of the South, soul out of LaGrange, drill out of Duval — five genres, one standard.
Artists are developed the old way: relationships first, records second, numbers last. Debut singles at No.1 on Billboard airplay and TikTok charts. A hundred million plays on a country-rap record. A Clarendon comedian to his first international deal inside eighteen months.
