Farm & Ranch Business Technology (AAS)
Business, records and operations training aimed squarely at working producers and family operations.
Horticulture Technology (AAS)
Specialty-crop, nursery and greenhouse production skills.
Verifier certification
Field certification in the WORMS methodology — water infiltration, ground cover, soil structure and biomass.

Who these are for
Producers who want the business and technology side of their operation on firmer ground. Family members coming back to the farm. Students from the territory who want agricultural work that pays and stays local. And people who want to do the verification work itself — walking fields, recording measurements and supporting the producers enrolled in the programme.

Programme training and scholarship questions go to the Office of Natural Resources, which can point you to the right contact at Murray State College. If you are already enrolled as a producer, ask about verifier certification when your fields are next visited.

Where the training happens
Two campuses, one hub
Murray State College runs the certification course for verifiers at Tishomingo, and hosts the Small Farm Hub on the Ardmore campus alongside a farmers’ market and teaching kitchen.
