An anthropologist with 30 years of experience in community-based development and natural resource conservation. Formerly Executive Director of the Mount Washington CDC, where she directed the Emerald View Park initiative for seven years. Ph.D. in Anthropology, Binghamton University.

Nearly 30 years in environmental conservation, social justice and nonprofit leadership. Helped shape the transition of the Emerald Trail Corps into Landforce; leads Periscope LLC and has held leadership roles at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and PennFuture.

A Pittsburgh native with nearly 15 years of front-line social-service experience as a caseworker, direct service worker, lead trainer and manager. B.A. in Criminal Justice, Edinboro University; board member of G.O. Girls.

More than a decade of leadership and as many years as a trail builder. Managed the Emerald Trail Corps for the MWCDC; certified in Game of Logging, the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program and as a Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator.

Over 30 years in sustainable forestry and wood reuse, trained as a design engineer. Ran a 2,000-acre sustainable forestry program in the Pittsburgh area; now establishing Landforce’s sawmill, drying center and biochar production.

A lifelong Pittsburgh resident and former construction Safety Manager who developed OSHA-compliant programs and managed CDL licensing. Son of a union carpenter; Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor and volunteer firefighter/EMT.

Joined Landforce in 2018 in a shared role with the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association. Political Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh; has served on boards including the Garfield Land Trust and the Mayor’s LGBTQIA+ Advisory Council. Point of contact for the non-discrimination policy.

A Savannah State University alumnus with a BBA in Marketing and two internships with the National Park Service. Brings visual arts and targeted messaging to telling the stories of Pittsburgh’s land and the people who restore it.

A social-services background spanning deaf advocacy, language access rights and adult education. Built trails with the Youth Conservation Corps in West Virginia; studied French, Spanish and Arabic at West Virginia University.

An educator with more than ten years as a teacher in Denmark. MA in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh, completed as a green technology fellow at Landforce in 2017.

Born and raised in Homewood; joined Landforce as a Crew Member in 2023. Certified Tree Tender, First Aid/CPR/AED and Game of Logging chainsaw safety; currently studying to become an RN.

A Detroit native who joined Landforce as a Crew Member in 2023 and returned as Site Supervisor in June 2024. Tree Tender, Flagger, forklift, Game of Logging, OSHA 10 and 40, First Aid/CPR/AED. Speaks publicly on restorative justice.

From Philadelphia; joined Landforce as a Crew Member in 2020, rose from Laborer to Grass Foreman at a local landscaping company, and returned as Site Supervisor in 2022. Tree Tender, Game of Logging, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR/AED.

Began as a Crew Member in 2024 and developed a passion for trail maintenance. Background in painting and roofing; certified in CPR, forklift operation, Game of Logging chainsaw safety and Tree Tender training.
