Our Mission
Our mission is more
than restoring land.
We invest in people.
Landforce is a nonprofit social enterprise that restores Pittsburgh’s natural spaces while providing job training, work experience, and a path to long-term opportunity. People who have been excluded from stable, family-sustaining work complete eight weeks of paid training, earn seven industry-recognized certifications, then keep building skills in paid transitional employment with our Land Stewardship crews and at The Mill.
