Sport BC Awards
Celebrating excellence, leadership and impact across BC's sport community through three annual recognition programs.
The Athlete of the Year Awards honour outstanding athletic achievements by BC athletes on the provincial, national and international stage. The Presidents' Award recognizes exceptional contributions to sport leadership. The Community Sport Hero Awards celebrate individuals and organizations making a meaningful difference at the community level. Sport BC hosts recognition events throughout the year to acknowledge the people who keep sport thriving in the province.
Athlete of the Year Awards
Canada's longest-standing sport recognition event, honouring BC athletes across 18 award categories. The 58th annual awards were held March 2026 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
Presidents' Awards
Recognizes exceptional contributions to sport leadership across BC's Provincial Sport Organizations.
Community Sport Hero Awards
Celebrates volunteers and organizations making a meaningful difference at the community level, presented in regions across BC throughout the year.
