The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Musically Speaking presents Philip Glass & The Firebird

Celebrated for “playing that flows from the heart” (The New York Times), Anne Akiko Meyers returns to the VSO for the BC première of Philip Glass’s mesmerizing First Violin Concerto. Maestro Tausk then leads two Stravinsky favourites: his explosive suite from The Firebird and the sparklingly elegant concerto, Dumbarton Oaks.
