How this website handles contact messages, chat and visitor activity.
Contact form and chat
The contact form records your name, email address, message and submission time. Chat records your conversation and a session identifier. These records are available for staff review.
Please don't include private health information in this form or in chat. For health questions, call 8-1-1. In an emergency, call 911.
Visitor activity and browser storage
Optional visitor tracking starts only after you enable it in the footer and respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting. It records page names, selected navigation-link labels, coarse device class and timestamps. Form field contents are excluded. A session cookie supports form security and chat continuity. Reading preferences and the tracking choice are stored in this browser.
For abuse prevention, the server records an IP address and time for form/chat rate limits and administrator sign-in attempts. Rate-limit records are removed after one day when a new limited request is processed. Hosting software may also keep its own request logs.
External services
Directory links open independently operated websites. The map loads OpenStreetMap only when you request it; that service receives connection information including your IP address. This website has no access to Health811 conversations or external directory searches.
