The Impact We Make Together

For more than 50 years, Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia has helped our older neighbors successfully age in place. With the support of donors and volunteers, we provide meals, transportation, companionship, and other critical services that keep seniors independent, healthy, and engaged. The vast majority of our services are free of charge.

We believe growing older shouldn’t mean being invisible, losing your independence, or living in isolation. We envision a community that empowers, respects, and values seniors and their caregivers.

Every dollar is a powerful gift to our community!

Every gift you give, no matter the size, sets something powerful in motion.

• $50 provides a week of nutritious home-delivered meals.

• $100 provides a tablet that helps a senior connect with family, healthcare providers, and essential online resources.

• $165 provides five rides to medical appointments, the grocery store, or other essential destinations.

• $300 provides a week of in-home care, helping a senior safely remain in the comfort of home.

• $400 provides all the essentials needed to help a newly housed senior settle into a safe, stable home.
