It will take place on Friday, April 17 at the historic Neon House in Norfolk. Like every year, our focus will be raising funds to support our critical programs for seniors in South Hampton Roads and Western Tidewater. More seniors than ever are struggling to pay for basic necessities like healthcare and groceries. Increasingly isolated, many have no means of transportation and little social support. Older adults are now the fastest-growing segment of the homeless population. Our programs—from home-delivered meals to I-RIDE transportation, in-home services, and benefits counseling—are designed with one goal in mind: to help older adults age in place with choice and dignity. We depend on donations to bridge the ga p between the f unding available and the extreme need in our community.
