Windows 7 security updates discontinued
As you have hopefully heard by now, Windows 7 updates are being discontinued after January 14, 2020, this includes security updates. This means Windows 7 will receive no more software, security, or bug fixes. When an operating system stops receiving security updates, they become a larger risk to use and have operating on your business network.
With only a few weeks until Windows 7 no longer receives updates, now is the time to either upgrade the operating system or to purchase new computers. Once the deadline passes, your risk of a cyber incident increases. One of the best methods of protecting your business and its data is having all of your devices and software fully updated.
