Growing Up WILD is an early childhood curriculum that can be incorporated into classroom settings, informal educational opportunities and with the children in your family. This 3-hour training session will show educators how to use the guide and showcase resources available to connect children to the outdoors. Please plan to be outside for portions of the program. Growing Up WILD curriculum guides are free to those completing this course by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife.

Get it all in one fitness class — a challenging workout and functional movement for vitality and longevity. This class is designed to maintain strength, mobility and power at an advanced level, regardless of your age. This is accomplished through a focus on grip strength, speed, balance, and building muscle. Exercises are also designed to improve breath work and fascia alongside joint and heart health. Due to the incorporation of a full range of exercises from calisthenics to long holds and deep stretches, prior exercise experience is highly recommended. Taught by Dan Loofboro. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Ages 18 and up Wednesdays, March 11 – October 28 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Join Up and Running trail leaders as you enjoy running on natural trails. This running group is for experienced runners and includes meadows, trails and hills. Meet at the Normandy Entrance (501 Normandy Ridge Rd.) of Grant Park or the Smith Entrance (2230 E. Centerville Station Rd.) of Bill Yeck Park. Please check online schedule for locations each week. Sign up once for the entire year! There is no registration deadline for this program. Join anytime! Designed for adults of all ages and fitness levels, this class introduces participants to the gentle, flowing movements of traditional Tai Chi, often called “meditation in motion", while also gaining insight to the martial aspects of the practice. Each session focuses on slow, intentional movement, mindful breathing and improved body awareness. This program is ideal for anyone looking for a calm, restorative form of exercise — no prior experience required. Movements can be adapted for different abilities.

Do you love competition and racing? Do you like being creative and completing challenges? Join us for a "CWPD 500" race around the park! Create your own cardboard race car! We will provide kits for you to pick up and decorate your cars beforehand! Additional decorations will be provided on the day of the event. Children will participate in games, crafts, hikes, and nature programs, all while staying active and outdoors on their days off. The theme for Thursday is Habitat Hoppers! We will explore the various habitats at Grant Park, from the meadows to the forest to the creek. Along the way, we will learn about the wildlife that live in these habitats. Both days of Fall Foliage Camp are separate programs; participants may register for one or both camp days.
