What to expect

Participants will explore the art of clay sculpting while creating whimsical forest critters resting on a natural-textured base. Using simple hand-building techniques and sculpting tools, artists will learn how to shape and add detail as they bring their imagination to life. Kristin Bailey from The Purple Paintbrush will provide 2 lbs. of clay and educational guidance to encourage the creation of curious foxes, slow-moving snails, gentle turtles or a creature all their own! Please note: children younger than 8 can sign up to attend with a parent or guardian to assist them with the project. Adults can sign up on their own as well!
